Investing in health care in an essential part of life, but the up-front costs of care can be a financial obstacle for many people.
At Coastal Vision, we are conscious of the fact that up-front expenses can be burdensome when patients do not have insurance, when special procedures are required but not covered by insurance, and when glasses and contact lens purchases strain the family budget, or when second-pair glasses are required for certain activities.
That is why we offer our patients Care Credit. Care Credit is a personal line of credit for health care treatments and procedures for your entire family, including your pets. It works like a credit card but it has two advantages. It can only be used for health care services and you can get No Interest* financing every time you use it. Simply pay your minimum monthly payment and pay off the entire balance by the end of your promotional period and you pay No Interest Our office has signed up to offer 6 and 12 month plans to fit our patients’ need to spread out their investment in eye heath care over a more manageable time period.
This means investing in better vision doesn’t have to wait. And one of the best parts of Care Credit is that many other health care professions use it, such as dentists, primary care physicians, chiropractors, and even veterinarians

*No interest requires a minimum purchase of $200. Please contact the office for further details.
At Coastal Vision, we happily welcome all patients with Tricare insurance to any of our locations for a complete eye exam.As a locally owned and operated company, Coastal Vision understands and appreciates the impact local military members and their families serve within the community. Hampton Roads is truly a community built by and centered around those who serve their country. For years, our eye doctors and eye care team have been serving the family members and retired servicemen and women who have given with great sacrifice to ensure our freedom and security.

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
The entire team at Coastal Vision is dedicated to helping members of our community in need. We believe the actions we take can have a profound effect on those around us, and strive to aid in any way we can.
For every pair of glasses we sell, we donate a pair to someone in need.
At Coastal Vision, we understand the importance that good vision plays in a person’s quality of life. We have seen firsthand the positive impact that good vision has on a child’s ability to learn how to read and write and to gain the education that becomes the foundation for their adult life. We have also witnessed the impact of good vision on an adult’s ability to learn new skills and to earn a living to support themselves and their family.
Unfortunately, there are many people throughout the world that simply do not have access to eye care or cannot afford glasses. This lack of access to vision correction can hamper children and adults’ ability to gain the education and skills needed to improve their lives as well as their local communities.
At Coastal Vision, we feel blessed to be in a position where we can give a helping hand to those in need. That is why we developed the Coastal Vision Cares initiative. Under this initiative, every time a patient buys a pair of glasses from Coastal Vision, we will donate a pair to someone in need. In this way, every patient at our practice plays an integral role in providing better vision and a better quality of life to someone in need.
Currently, Coastal Vision is working with HIS Vision Project. This wonderful charity has been working in Haiti to help the local and impoverished people by providing access to eye care and eyeglasses. We feel this is the perfect outlet for us to distribute donated glasses and eye care assistance to those in need.
Everyone at Coastal Vision thanks you for you continued support of our practice as well as our efforts to alleviate this global problem. Please know that when you purchase your eyewear at our practice, the Coastal Vision Cares initiative ensures that you will have a positive impact on the quality of life of an individual in need.
The team at Coastal Vision took two nights this August to cook dinner for the residents at the Ronald McDonald House on Colley Avenue in Norfolk. From the very beginning of Coastal Vision, we’ve been providing vision screenings to all students at Woodstock Elementary in Virginia Beach. Every October, our entire staff takes a day or two to visit the school and screen all students for decreased vision, color vision, and binocular function skills which could impact their ability to learn. We feel so fortunate that Principal Oliverio and the entire Woodstock community afford us the opportunity to give back to the community in such a warm and welcoming environment.
The Lions Club plays a vital role in coordinating and promoting eye health screenings and care to members of Hampton Roads who could not otherwise afford these services. We support the Lions Club through donations of used glasses, as well as working to coordinate pro bono care for individuals selected by the Lions Club.
