Dr. Hal Breedlove
is a life-long resident of Virginia Beach,
graduating from First Colonial High School,
and receiving his BS at Randolph-Macon
College. He attended Southern College of
Optometry where he earned his Doctor Of
Optometry (O.D.) degree. Returning back
home, he started Coastal Vision in 1984,
which has grown to 4 locations, making it
one of the largest private practice in
Virginia. |

Abhner R. Wang
was born in the Philippine Islands in 1976.
His family immigrated to the United States
in 1984 and he spent his middle school and
high school years in Tallahassee, Florida.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in
Psychology from the University of Florida in
1998, he was accepted to the Nova
Southeastern University College of Optometry
in the Fall of 1999. Upon graduation in
2003, he accepted a commission as a
Lieutenant in the United States Navy Medical
Service Corps.

Dr. Jessica
Lin was born in Taiwan, but moved
to Maryland at a young age. Originally from
Rockville, Maryland, she attended Johns
Hopkins University and the University of
Maryland where she earned a B.S. in
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Dr.
Jessica Lin earned her doctorate of
optometry from the Pennsylvania College of
Optometry in 2008, graduating third in her
class.

Dr. Scott Nilsson
grew up in North Eastern Pennsylvania and
went to undergraduate school at Mansfield
University where he majored in biology with
a minor in chemistry. In 2000 he moved to
Raleigh, North Carolina where he performed
pharmaceutical and genetic research for four
years. He then returned to school at the
Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) in
Philadelphia to receive his Doctorate of
Optometry where he graduated with academic
and clinical honors.
